About

Diane's House of Hope is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support and resources to homeless women in our community. Our mission is to empower women to embrace their strength, define their future, and create positive change in their lives. We strive to offer a safe space where women can find the support and encouragement they need to rebuild their lives. Through our various programs and initiatives, we aim to make a meaningful difference in the lives of homeless women by providing them with the tools and opportunities to thrive.

This facility  will provide a stable and structured living environment, paired with comprehensive, evidence-based programs that address addiction recovery, mental health support, life skills development, job readiness, and community reintegration. By offering holistic and continuous care, the halfway house

aims to reduce recidivism, promote long-term sobriety, and empower residents to become productive, self-sufficient members of society.

Diane’s House of Hope is committed to delivering measurable, impactful results through its comprehensive support programs. Our targeted outcomes include:

  •  25% reduction in recidivism among program participants.

  • 80% of participants secured stable employment within six months of enrollment.

  • 90% of participants successfully complete life skills training and addiction recovery programs.

  • 75% of residents transition into independent housing within 12 to 18 months of entering the program.

These outcomes reflect our dedication to fostering long-term stability, personal growth, and successful reintegration into the community.

About the Founder

My name is Melonee Guy

Melonee Haney-Guy is  a woman of remarkable resilience and wavering faith, Melonee is a 25-year recovering addict who has overcome both incarceration and a cancer diagnosis, once considered terminal. At just 22 years old, she was advised she had six months to live. Faced with what she believed to be a death sentence, she turned to crack cocaine as a way to cope. That season of

despair eventually led to incarceration–but it also became the turning point

in her life. During her time in prison, Melonee encountered both spiritual

awakening and life-changing connection. She met her future husband–also

incarcerated at the time–and their relationship began through a heartfelt

exchange of letters. Their letters were filled with reflections on faith, her

relationship with God, and the profound transformation she was

undergoing. Their shared belief in God’s redemptive power became the

foundation of their bond, and after his release, they married and began

building a new life together.

Now cancer-free for 34 years, Melonee and her husband run a successful

cleaning business, and have founded Diane’s House of Hope.
